Very helpful guide for beginners in SD. Analytical in customizing with screenshots makes the book easily to read and easily understandable.I recommend it to all newcomers in sd area.
This book provided me with all the information I needed concerning SAP. Each section gives you step by step instructions on how to navigate through the SAP portal effectively. I highly reccommend this book. I only gave the book 4 stars because it is somewhat hard to read.
Worth every penny, if you're learning SAP SD. I've purchased three SAP SD books and this is by far the best.
Although there was a little of version upgrade after 4.0B, versions do not matter much because whichever version you use, you can still figure out the changes and you can always find the screens and tabs since the transaction codes doesn't chang much. I think this book still gives comprehensive knowledge about core functionality of R/3 Sales and Distribution module.
The author has done a brilliant job in this 2nd Edition. He explains the differences of mySAP ERP SD, its new functionality, and includes topics relevant to the ECC5 and ECC6 versions of SAP. He covers tools like SAP Query and the book is full of time saving tips and advice. There is an appendix of nearly every transaction code related to SD, as well as in depth steps on how to configure the backbone of SD in SAP, that is pricing, sales documents, Basic functions etc. This book also has brief information on peripheral integration topics such as EDI and user exits in SAP SD.This book is far better than his previous best seller, with better print and screenshots, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a book explaining how to configure SAP SD, and to advanced users of the SD module.
